Rimatec was founded in 2015. Since then, Rimatec has been employed on many different engineering and design tasks within Norwegian maritime industry. The company is located in Kastav, small historical town situated in the northern part of the Croatian Adriatic coast, just between Opatija and Rijeka.
Skilled team combined of experienced and creative masters of mechanical engineering can provide tailor made designs and solutions for different maritime, offshore and onshore operations.
This part of Croatia has a long tradition of shipbuilding industry and has always been significant source of skilled engineering manpower.
We have flexible and proficient team of master’s degree engineers which are eager to accept the challenges and to solve them with confidence.
Our mission is to provide reliable and quality engineering services and design solutions to our customers. Services and solutions are to be tailored to the needs and requirements of the customer. This is achieved through teamwork, the use of modern technologies and continuous adaptation and consulting of the customer through all stages of business cooperation.

Quality and environmental policy
To deliver reliable and quality design solutions, engineering services as well as technical consulting services to our customers is the Company's primary goal.
To meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations, as well as to comply with established standards in the field of business activity, is an obligation of paramount importance, and therefore, for each product, process planning, and management is performed in accordance with established procedures.
Delivery of top-quality products and services is not a short-term process, nor will our Company ever be able to conclude conclusively that the primary goal has been achieved and that the products delivered are of the highest quality possible. The reason for that lies in the fact that the quality delivery process is a long journey without a destination. The pursuit for delivery of the highest quality products means that every employee of the Company, headed by the management, will raise the quality scale to a higher level, with the aim of making the Company even better and delivering an even better product than the previous one.
Achieving complete satisfaction with the customer is a principle that can be heard and used daily, but the importance of this principle is exceptional, and it is necessary to continue applying it. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality product possible and, accordingly, it is necessary to constantly maintain customer satisfaction at the highest possible level.
There are many companies in our sector that provide similar products and are average, but only a few are excellent. Therefore, in our path of continuous quality improvement, it is necessary to constantly think about quality, so that ultimately our Company can also be considered excellent. Continuous reflection on what makes our Company better and more special than our competition will save time in the future as we spend more time on making a quality product and less on correcting the wrong products.
The Management Board of the Company, through its management methods, ensures the implementation of the following quality policy guidelines:
- Continuous improvement of the quality of products and services;
- Continuous development and improvement of all processes in the Company;
- Adaptation to market demands and continuous monitoring of customer satisfaction;
- Social security and employee satisfaction;
- Business and delivery of products in accordance with all national and international laws, norms and regulations;
- Protecting the environment through prevention and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
The above guidelines for quality and environmental policy are based on the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015.
The achievement of these basic quality determinants is made possible through continuous communication with employees by the Management Board, in order to ensure the application of all procedures within the Company's process and to make all employees aware of the importance of applying these determinants, additional employee training, internal audits, and external audit by the certification body shall be regularly conducted.
The evaluation of the quality management system will be carried out at least once a year, and the mentioned internal planning audits are the basis for taking corrective measures, risk and opportunity analysis and continuous monitoring of all work activities in the further development of the quality management system.
Implementation of the quality policy and quality management activities are the basic work task and obligation of all employees of the Company.
